Events and Fairs
There are many events organised by bodies affiliated to the
Association of British Philatelic Societies (ABPS)
of which Enfield Philatelic Society is a member.
These events, fairs, and auctions, together with details of dealers and local societies are listed in the
"Stamp Fair & Auction Diary"

Alexandra Palace, built in 1873 and often referred to as "Ally Pally", is located just south of the Borough of Enfield. It was the location of the Stamp World internation exhibition in 1990. Part of the Palace was leased to the BBC in 1935, and in 1936 became the home of their first regular public television service.
